First Code of Conduct on ABS to be officially recognised by the European Commission.  

•   Provides ABS priniciples, practices and guidance to support taxonomic collection holding institutions and non commercial biological research institutions in how to comply with ABS. 
• Guidence on ABS relevant actions to be taken by organisations and institutions with regards to common genetic resource workflows (include temporary acquistion, third party transfer and Utilisation, PICs, Curation of legal documents associated with GRs, due diligence). 
•  Provides templates: such as Biological material transfer statements, Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), Data use statements,
